This is the BEST sushi restaurant I've been to in a long time. The prices are so cheap, I don't know how they are still in buisness. Family owned and operated - they are always friendly and welcoming. And, to top it all off, the food is amazing! I love their menu!
This is the worst maki I have ever tasted. I ordered "Roll Combo C" - 15 pieces of California, Dynamite and Alaska rolls. Each of these 3 rolls contained a large amount of shredded imitation crab. The imitation crab was so moist I was unsure if it was mixed with mayo or with water. I also ordered the Miso soup - which lacked substance and taste there was no seaweed, tofu or green onions. I am very disappointed with the quality & taste and will never order from this restaurant again.
Personally I don't go to a Sushi Restaurant to get rolls I can get at booths in a mall, but when it comes to the specialty rolls Asa Sushi delivers the best.
The 'Jane and Bloor' roll is to die for and even as weird as it sounds the 'sushi pizza' is amazing. The bento box is delicious with the perfect combination of teriyaki and tempura, and the Udon bowls are simply orgasmic.
